La Loma is the first LĂĄgrimas vintage produced using agave from the state of MichoacĂĄn. The La Loma rancho, located 1,540 meters above sea level in the mountainous municipality of Villamar, yields mature agave with a high brix level of 38%. Three months in exâbourbon barrels impart warm baking spice and caramel to this citrus and agave-driven tequila.

- Agaves crushed by roller mill are fermented in stainless steel tanks; tahona-crushed agaves are fermented naturally using ambient yeast in open-air wooden tanks
- Distilled twice using stainless steel pot stills
- Rested 3 months in exâbourbon barrels
- Tangerine, canella, and lemongrass on the nose with roasted agave, salted caramel, anise, and cantaloupe on the palate
